With so much knowledge at our fingertips, why pay for a professional? The internet is a wealth of information. Most of us are connected to it all day!
“What is that actors name? I’ll google it…”
“Did you see what she posted on Facebook? Hold on, I’ll show you…”
“Can I afford this? Let me check my account… Heck, I even deposit checks through an app on my phone and now I can make purchases right through my phone!”
All this info can be great, and I do love having all of the info at my fingertips, but what about the info that we take as truth that may not be so black in white?
My husband’s grandmother was a wonderful woman, but whatever she read, she took as absolute truth -- Great for true stories, not so much for the weekly tabloids!
We have all had an ailment and thought, “Let me check out WebMD…” By the end of filling out what’s wrong, you had a terminal disease, then you freak yourself out and your symptoms get worse. By the time you see your doctor, who tells you that most of your symptoms are now stress induced, and the original symptom was a minor ailment that could be easily treated.
We have enough stress without adding to it. A real estate professional knows how to read between the lines. They have been through the process enough times to be able to tell you what actually happens versus what the Internet is trying to tell you. Real estate agents and brokers have a network that they can refer to you that can help to get you accurate answers from real life experience. They work for you!
There are many sites out there that will tell you what a property is worth, how much your mortgage will be and what the different loan terms are, but they aren’t right there seeing the property with you.
Real Estate is a puzzle made up of 100 tiny pieces and the Internet can not account for each piece that needs to be in place!
--Credit Score
--Money Down
--Debt to income ratio
--Interest rates
--Location
--Updates
--Area Value
--Supply and demand
--Your specific needs
--Insurance
All of these things can not be generated by a computer. Real estate is a real experience -- one that requires real people!
To find out more, call a professional and see how they can help you to put the puzzle together!
