I don't purport to know the best way to do things.  I do know that you need to take risks and adapt to change along the way in everything you do.  I believe in being accessible to my clients 24 hours a day.  I believe in working for people and with people only after I get to know them as a little more than just "another client."  I believe that we (as Realtors) get well compensated and should do more than stick the sign in the ground and wait for someone else to sell our listings.  I believe in communicating with my valued clients at least once a week.  I believe in educating them to the market and walking them through the sales process step by step.  I have laid mulch, planted flowers and cut lawns for my valued clients.  I have even recently delivered a dog from one partner to another as a favor.  These are people, just like you and me, people who need help getting through a tough time or transitioning from one stage of their lives to the next.  This business is as much about selling homes as it is about helping people.  If it costs money, let them know they need to pay for the service or the item, but that you're there to help.  If it's just a matter of a good deed, just do it.  A few years ago, as a waiter, I would have to work 400-500 hours to make what I am fortunate enough to make now on an average $300,000 sale.  No one puts in that many hours to sell a home, not even averaged in with all of the homes that never sell.  The money's good and people truly appreciate the kindness.  This is just a snap-shot of my standard of "full-service."  While there is much more that comprises the term as it pertains to The Davison Real Estate Group, it is nonetheless an overused and often misused term with as many definitions as there are real estate agents.

This guy means what he says and he is very passionate about it.  He really does believe in doing the work, doing it for the right reason, treating people like he wants to be treated, and that the money will follow.  Most realtors really don't give a damn about their clients unless there's a paycheck at the end of the transaction.  John is definitely not like that.  I would recommend him to anyone who insists on high ethics and moral character in a realtor.
