I am proud to be a Realtor in Huntsville, Alabama!  We are a lucky group of Realtors, here in Huntsville and Madison Alabama!  This week is the official roll-out of a combined media blitz by the Northern Alabama MLS and the Huntsville/Madison County Builders Association.

They have joined forces to spend well into the 6 figures dollar wise to inform the public of our healthy Real Estate market!  Several focus groups were formed months ago to get this project off of the ground.  I am so thankful to everyone that devoted so much of their time to make this happen for all of us.  We are being supplied all of the marketing materials that we will need to spread the word. Post cards, ad slicks, web site information, etc.  The campaign is chocked full of facts about our market, not myths.

Our ad materials show 10 reasons why our Real Estate Market here in Huntsville, Alabama, and Madison, Alabama are very healthy!!!

The web address is: www.healthyrealestate.net/. Come see for yourself why living and  buying a home in Huntsville or Madison, Alabama is still a positive thing to do!  You'll be glad you did.

Sounds great! There have been a few attempts here in Nashville to do the same, but nothing to that magnitude. We have Northern Alabama on our Middle TN MLS (RealTracs), but I'm sure you are aware of that.

What has been your personal experience with your local real estate market?

Chris, I recently relocated here from Murfreesboro. The market here does seem much stronger than the Nashville area as a whole. We have not lost value, but held steady. I sold in Murfreesboro for 6 years and moved here last year. I have to say, the market here is very exciting right now. We have the BRAC move coming slowly and we are expected to have a shortage of homes by 2011. Pretty exciting stuff!

Thanks for commenting!

I love to this sort of information- I have confidence that the media will begin to report the positive marktet news only when they see enough evidence (or sources) to back the information up. Also... glad to see your market is doing well.

Chuck, Thanks for stopping and commenting. I really appreciate it so much. I was thrilled that the home builders association and our Board of Realtors were smart enough to shout it from the rooftops!
