SOME PROVERBS

PROVERBS

27:1 Do not boast about tomorrow, for you do not know what a day may bring forth

28:6 Better is the poor who walks in his integrity, than one perverse in his ways although  he be rich

1: 19 So are the ways of everyone who is greedy for gain it takes away the life of its owners

3:13 Happy is the man who finds wisdom, and the man who gains understanding

8:13 The fear of the Lord is to hate evil;pride and arrogance and the evil way and the perverse mouth I hate.

 These were a few verses i found just by flipping through the book of proverbs. If you ever have a day when you really don't have much time but just feel the need to read a little of Gods word. The book of proverbs is perfect. I try to read one proverb a day but get sidetracked alot. But it is just so easy to fing a verse full of wisdom that all you have to do is flip open to just about any page and start reading and you will soon find something to ponder.

Hello Hugh, Thanks for sharing these scriptures.  The book of Proverbs is full of wisdom and I am thankful to be made wiser on this day.
