Virtual Tours get LAMBLOGGED!

I want your opinion:

Q:      Do you think properties that feature Virtual Tours sell faster than similar homes without them?

I have some Realtor.com stats that are interesting, but I want to know what YOU think.

Chris - I tried to research this on my MLS one day a few months ago and couldn't find any correlation.  I'll be interested to hear your stats though.

ERIK:  I will post them tomorrow (they are actually 2005 #s, so I don't know how much they have changed in 3 years)

Chris,

It took me a while to find you again, but as you can see I did!  More important than virtual tours and all the other fluff, price is always paramount.  Our MLS allows 12 pics.  That is more than enough for most houses.  VT's are good but we can live without them.  It is just fluff that makes it seem so real.  A good eye with the camera works wonders!

SARA:   Thanks for your input. I will unveil the NAR findings tomorrow (like I said, their stats are interesting).

How is the real estate market in your neck of the woods?

I cheated... read part two second.  12 pics isn't enough.  It isn't enough to get someone to buy a car on Ebay, why should it be enough to get someone to buy a house?  I know we are trying to get people to look at them, but shouldn't the goal be to get people that LIKE the property already to visit?

But, the definition of virtual tour is what we need to establish...
