Craig Sager What an Inspiration to us all

On December 15th Craig Sager passed away. He was the guy with multi -color suits interview the coaches. His interviews with "Pop" of the San Antonio Spurs were legendary. He was a great family man, I was in awe of his courage to face cancer and death. When he was awarded the ESPY I had tears runnng down my face. He left many great legacies but I think the one the struck me the most when he said "Each day was a canvas to be painted" What we make of each day is up to us we need to paint a beautiful canvas each and every day.

I had the experience of meeting Craig Sager after a Bulls Game a number of years ago, and found him to be a friendly local guy from suburban Batavia, IL.

It's quite a tribute to be remembered by so many in such a fond way.

I liked Craig Sager.  He was a nice guy with a good sense of humor.  Having had a mother who passed away due to cancer and a wife who survived it I know the trials and tribulations of the disease.  That's why I am involved with the American Cancer Society, Leukemia Lymphoma Society, and the Multiple Myeloma Foundation and donate regulary to St. Judes.  Hopefully we can wipe out this disease sometime soon.
