Being a new member of Active Rain, I would like to introduce you to a place that has been my home and my workplace for most of the 50 years that I've been living. I believe that the friendly folks who live in and around Jasper and Ball Ground or anywhere in Northern Cherokee or Pickens County are some of the luckiest people in this great land of the USA. Our area is unique in the fact that we are able to still live the slow paced small town or country sort of lifestyle while having all the conveniencies of the city just a short drive down the road. If it's privacy on your own 40 acre estate that you want, You can still find that here. If its the upscale communities with all the ammenities such as golf, tennis, or any one of many other activities that tickles your fancy you can find that here as well. If its the modest 3br 2 bath home in a nice community with great schools you seek, IT'S HERE! The real estate market in the Ball Ground and Jasper area's of Cherokee and Pickens County is bursting with opportunnity for anyone seeking a great place to live or work. At the risk of sounding a bit like a boaster, I could go on and on and tell you all about the beautiful lakes, rivers and wildlife preserves we have in our area, and all the great shopping within a few minutes drive from all this; but I'll leave something for your Imagination for now.
