The Wild Huckleberry Restaurant: A Review

If you're looking for an interesting menu and generous portions of food, the Wild Huckleberry Restaurant in Wenatchee should be on your short list of places to go.  It's located in an old house at 302 S. Mission, Wenatchee, WA.  

The Wild Huckleberry also operates the restaurant and bar at the Leavenworth Golf Course, 25 miles west of Wenatchee.  

A friend and I went to the Wenatchee location for lunch yesterday.  Turns out they were serving breakfast too. Breakfast is good any time of day, right?  I had a hard time deciding but finally settled on the Veggie Omelette.  SCORE!  It also came with a side dish. I chose bisquits and gravy.  It was amazing and big enough that I took half of it home and enjoyed a lovely breakfast of leftovers this morning.

If you look at the menu and you think the prices are a little on the high side, you would be WRONG!  For the quality and quantity of food, it's a good value and homey atmosphere. The staff is great too.   

Next time I go, I'll be tempted to order the Veggie Omelette again but I know I should try something different.  Stay tuned about that.

Only yesterday did I discover there is also a boutique in their lower level, jam packed with interesting things.  I'll have to go back when I have more time.
