I finally figured out where to get a cup of coffee at 7 in the morning up here!

I'm at Rose's Bakery & Coffee Shop, in Lake Nebagamon, Wisconsin.  I stumbled in here at about 6:45 and Rose herself made me a latte.  There were only two customers in here when I arrived, but now (about fifteen minutes later) the place is packed!  This seems to be the place where the locals congregate in the morning for an eye-opener.

Rose's offers an assortment of espresso, Americano, cappuccino, latte and specialty beverages, including Chai and regular teas and hot chocolate.  The baked goods are fresh and the service is friendly.  You can get lunch here (panini sandwiches), but this morning I needed coffee.

I'm off to Port Wing for my morning appointment..

Eric, I't about 8:30 here, and I'm reading this drinking some of my own coffee that is nothing like at good as what Rose has to offer!  The pastries sound divine!  I may have to go down to Heller's, our local bakery, even if it's just for the smell!

Pat, I was desperately looking for someplace with coffee at half-past 6 a.m. when I stumbled upon Rose's Bakery & Coffee Shop.

I had a Danish.  I couldn't resist the pastries either..

Joan, it was a welcome sight at that hour of the day.  Lake Nebagamon is a very charming small town.  I didn't think there'd be anything open that early.

Sounds like a great place.  Do they have a website?  You should post more pics.  I bet it's beautiful in your part of WI.

Anthony -- I've put quite a few photos of Lake Nebagamon on Localism.  It's a very charming place.
