We have quite a few fun holiday traditions, one of which is watching that Christmas classic, "It's A Wonderful Life" with Donna Reed and Jimmy Stewart.

I can relate to the struggle of George Bailey-someone who wants to accomplish great things elsewhere, yet keeps on riding the roller coaster of a small family business. (There are many similar challenges between the Building & Loan and Real Estate business.)

Yet as Clarence famously writes, "No man is a failure who has friends."

Tonight we shared it with friends who'd never watched it before. If you haven't yet seen "It's A Wonderful Life", I highly recommend it.

I agree with Joe - I love the 1952 Scrooge. Great movie, but It's a Wonderful is a classic heartwarmer... However, as Steven mentioned, just for fun is Elf. I can watch it a million times and many phrases are household terms around my home with my son and daughter.

I love this movie too. I had an agent that worked for me that told me she played the part of ZuZu and how she loved all the actors and how nice they were to her. I found it hard to believe and think she must have been the understudy. I think of the lie she told each time I see the movie.
