Home for the Holidays

My mom and I used to go to the after Christmas Sales on the 26th, this is one of the 1st ornaments we bought at a really upscale store that ordinarily we could not afford. This is special because it brings so many memories of Christmas Pasts.

This is the newest ornament on the tree Bob and I bought this at FDR's home Hyde Park it was a wonderful day.

This is one of the many ornaments that been given to me by a dear sweet friend of the White House who travels to Washington DC often especially during the Christmas Holidays and he usually buys me one when he is there. This is one of my favorites.

And of course the most precious ones of all the ones made my wonderful sons and made even more special because they are in it! I remember this picture like it was a couple of years ago Oh how the time flies to be able to go back and enjoy it oh so much more. These are some of the ornaments that grace our Christmas Tree.

It's nice when you can buy ornaments at places you have visited.  A few years ago, my daughter, grandkids and I visited Carmel Mission.  There was a wonderful nativity set that I purchased.  I wrote on the back of it, where and when, and gave it to my grandkids.  That way they will always have the memory of our visiting there.

Yolanda, there is no ornamate or Christmas decoration that can match one made by family, or with a picture of our kids or family in the decoration!
