On December 16, 2016, PropertyRadar reported that home sales declined 2.3% in November of 2016 from in October of 2016, but gained 19.5% of from November of 2015, and the median home price increased 1.4% to $492,000 in November of 2016 from October of 2016, and jumped 9.3% from November of 2015. While, the distressed sales rose 1.0% in November of 2016 from in October of 2016, but down 0.9% of from November of 2015 in Southern California.
PropertyRadar's Director of Economic Research Madeline Schnapp, stated “TRID pushed November 2015 sales into December and thus made November 2016’s year-over-year comparison higher. The reverse may be true in December 2016.”
