International Realtor in Beverly Hills, CA: Endre Barath, Jr.
I have noticed there has been a larger trend of agents are acquiring International Sales Accreditations. I find this trend interesting on many levels. Just to be clear an accreditation does not necessarily get you results.
There are many challenges that one must overcome. First there is the language barrier, not every International agent speaks the language of the potential client. Then there is a huge learning curve of how Real Estate is bought and sold in the United States vs. the country the person is coming from. To be more specific there are major differences in the sale and purchase of homes just in the United States alone. I am speaking from experience. I have bought and sold properties in Connecticut. I represented buyers and sellers in Massachusetts and have been and still represent buyers and sellers in Beverly Hills and vicinity. There are huge differences just in these three states how we buy and sell. Just imagine what it must be like coming from different Continents, different customs and different traditions need to be educated as to how business is done in the local Real Estate Market.
Hence a good International Realtor needs to be very patient. Second the International Realtor needs to be very knowledgeable and can answer more questions from the potential International buyer than from an average or from a more traditional buyer who is local. There must be a great deal more details that must be clarifies. IF all that is accomplished hopefully there will be mutual trust established.
Many different countries have different cultures and customs in the buying and selling of Real Estate. The various nuances must be also clarified that what the local customs are and how one has to fit into the framework of the purchase process.
I have been representing buyers and sellers from all parts of the Globe. Every buyer and seller appreciated my style and patience. Some who did not I did not take on as clients for the long term. Having lived on two coasts and two different continents I appreciate the challenges, hence I am more empathetic and patient.
