What to Do with Your Live Christmas Tree
In Clarksville TN you can bring your not so fresh undecorated Christmas trees to Rotary Park to be used as mulch. The park is located on New Ashland City Rd. where there is a designated place in the parking lot where you can drop them off.
The park trails will benefit from the mulch created that will be spread later this spring. There are lots of trails in Rotary Park if you like a good hike.
Here are some other things you can do with your live Christmas tree:
Place the tree on your property for birds and wildlife to use during bad weather.
Put bird seed and pine cones around it to provide food for the birds. You will enjoy watching them, too.
Use the small branches to shelter the root systems of other shrubs.
The main trunk can be used as a landscape timber for erosion control.
