Active Listings, as of May 6, 2008 and Sold Data from April 1, 2008 to April 31, 2008. Months supply is the number of active listings divided by the number of sold listings for the month.
The April real estate market was up slightly from March to April. Douglas county months supply went from 8.17 to 8.21. Total number of sales for both Douglas county increased from 463 to 473 homes or up 2.16%. With the warmer weather, more buyers are getting out and looking at homes. I continue to believe there are a couple of wild cards for this year with the recent changes in the mortgage market and the threat the pending $4 gas will have on home buyers?
