I have a herd of grandkids! And, when I look at each of them, I swear they're all rock stars. There's not a single one of them who doesn't excel in art or music!
Yesterday, while enjoying Christmas breakfast at my daughter's house, I came across this painting. It was painted by Macie, my sixteen year old granddaughter!
She's holding it here, so you can see what I'm talking about!

It reminds me how special the earliest work of child is for art that should be framed. You have one talented granddaughter Myrl Jeffcoat and are blessed to have the herd and vice versa the other way around as Grammy, Nana, Mama Myrl or whatever the first grand child gave you for a handle.

I hate to say this, Myrl, but I don't think those are the eyes of a tiger. Tigers have stripes. Leopards have spots. But what the hell do I know? I love Macie's artwork. Especially the way she composed the image on the canvas by offsetting it to the right and then angling the image like that. She is definitely a superstar!!! Runs in the family, I agree.
