Its very refreshing and exciting when we have opportunities to watch movies that really help open your perspective, especially in times like today. The two movies that I personally give the Feng Shui stamp of approval is "Kubo and the Two Strings" direct by Travis Knight" and "Hidden Figures" directed by Theodore Melfi.
"Kubo and the Two Strings" is about a young boy named Kubo and he must locate a magical suite of armor worn by his late father in order to defeat a vengeful spirit from the past. This may not sound like much, yet please do not be fooled. The folklore provides insightful life lessons through powerful story telling, composed music and fantastically designed animated visuals. The story will truly touch your heart and spirit.
"Hidden Figures," is based on a true story about a team of African-American women who provided NASA with important mathematical data needed to launch the progrmas' first successful space mission. I don't remember learning about this great significant historical fact growing up and my grandfather worked for NASA. It's time to update America's text books in the class room. Just saying.
If you have not seen either of these movies, please do yourself a favor and watch them.
