Jan. 1 Is Last Night to See San Jose, Calif.'s Christmas in the Park

San Jose's annual Christmas in the Park event officially closes at midnight on January 1, 2017. Tonight is the last chance to see all of the displays and decorated Christmas trees. Everything starts taken down on January 2, 2017.
Nearby Christmas in the Parkis the Circle of Palms Ice Skating Rink, next to the Fairmont Hotel. Tickets for the separate carnival-style rides are available for purchase.
The City of San José, Department of Parks, Recreation & Neighborhood Services, works closely with Christmas in the Park's Board of Directors in providing staff assistance for the event. Board members and community volunteers donate more than 257,000 hours and raise funds year-round to support the event.
When visiting Christmas in the Park, consider traveling by Light Rail to avoid dealing with traffic and parking challenges.
