What I Learned This Week At ActiveRain-January 1- January 7, 2017.
I learn something new every day at ActiveRain! With this series, I try to highlight one post per day that gave me that “lightbulb” moment. It could be something techie, something about Real Estate, about a place or person! Or it could be a post that made me sit up and take notice!
January 1: Colleen Fischesser Never Underestimate What YOU Can Do In a Year.
In thinking about what you want for this year, and not sure if you can, this should inspire you!
January 2: Joe Pryor Instead of New Year’s Resolutions, Have Resolve Instead.
I want to be around when Joe parachutes from that plane in 30 years! If this doesn’t inspire you, I’m not sure what will.
Gabe Sanders Gabe's January 2017 Housecalls Newsletter
This is the kind of newsletter that I'd welcome in my in-box. And by the way, you might want to be careful with your cookbook.
Sheila Anderson It's the Obvious...
I love this! Just think how much more we would see if we looked beyond the obvious.
January 3: Karen Fiddler New Year's Blues or All Fired Up?
I can so relate to Karen's post. At the beginning of the year, I always feel as if I'm a horse at the starting gate ready for the gates to open.
January 4: Ron and Alexandra Seigel 2017 Theme: "We Can Work It Out!"
If there's a mantra we would all do well to adopt it is this one.
January 5: Charles Buell Let's Ramp Things Up a Bit for the New Year.
Just when you think you've seen everything, along comes this head scratcher. Makes you want to grab your skateboard.
January 6: Pamela Cendejas Social Media is a Contact Sport-Stop Lurking and Start Engaging.
We hear how important it is to use social media. But it's not enough to just post there (just like here at ActiveRain.) Pamela gives us some ideas on just how to start engaging.
January 7: Dorie Dillard Different rhythms for different folks...all harmoniously integrated.
Never heard of Silent Disco but it sounds like a lot of fun!!! But even more I love the analogy Dorie makes.
Thank you for letting me do what I love to do each day... learn something new!
