- Tuesday's Market: December ISM Manufacturing and November Construction Spending were both higher than anticipated. The stronger than expected data is negative for pricing, especially the ISM beat
- Friday's Mortgage Rate Results: Mortgage rates based on Mortgage Backed Securities (MBS) closed Down 0.27 point.
- 30-year fixed-rate mortgage (FRM) averaged 4.32 percent with an average 0.5 point for the week ending December 29 2016, up from last week when it averaged 4.30 percent. A year ago at this time, the 30-year FRM averaged 4.01 percent.
