Feng Shui Tip: Observe the Artwork Around You and Discover it's Meaning

By

As you develop your "Feng Shui eyes" more and more, in due time you will begin to observe your environment with more accuracy. Through these key observations you can begin to understand what perceptions may be keeping you stuck in the past vs moving forward.

A client in Los Angeles California shared he's in the process of updating the artwork inside his bedroom.

After awaking from an evenings rest, the artwork across from his bed caught his attention. He thought to himself, "these pieces of artwork no longer make sense and do nothing for me. I look at them and they feel aggressive. They do not align with who I am and where I'm going."

He has owned these pieces of artwork for over 10 years and since that time, life has changed, and for the better. This including self transformation and with whom he is dating.

As you change and evolve, it's important to transform your environment to match who you are currently and are becoming.

Yes as we change it's important that our environment nurture the "new" us.

That is great advice Laura. I am guilty of leaving things as they are for far too long. I need to update my bedroom as my preferences have changed over the years.

It's interesting to think of looking at our artwork and making a point of figuring out how they make us feel. For the most part, the artwork in my home bores me. I think that's a sign it's time to change!

Good morning Laura. I never thought about this but I agree, tastes change and art should reflect that.

Very interesting insight on Feng Shui and  artwork and if it's working in our life.

Good luck and success.

I take the Japanese approach that if a piece of art stays on the wall it becomes the wall. You need to change up where they hang in order to see them with fresh eyes.

Hi Laura.  I will try, though with some artwork, I have serious problems trying to figure out the meaning.

Excellent advice, Laura Cerrano - I can totally relate to that and have done the very same thing  (come to the realization that particular artwork no longer represents ME)!
