Bucks county is a great place to live. There are many wonderful 55plus communities in Bucks County. There is new construction by Toll Brothers and other builders. Some of these communities have amenities like indoor heated swimming pools and exercise rooms, tennis courts and lots of activites at the clubhouse.
People love to live in Bucks County because it is a suburb of Philadelphia and convenient to go to New York , New Jersey and Delaware.
I looked up the multiple listing for homes sold in active adult communities in Bucks County from 2013 to 2016.
Here are the statistics.:
Homes sold in 2013 is 279
Homes sold in 2014 is 285
Homes sold in 2015 is 383
Homes sold in 2016 is 339.

There must be some pent up demand . Each year there are more people who qualify to buy in 55plus communities . There are people who relocate to Pa from New Jersey. They prefer to buy in Bucks county so that they can keep in touch with their friends in New Jersey.
I know of some seniors who have moved to a lovely active adult community in Langhorne called Village of Flowers Mill. They go to New Jersey every week. This is a very popular community and homes do not last long on the market. There are often multiple bids. They have an awesome clubhouse with indoor swimming pool and banquet room.
People who live here can take the train from Trenton and go to New York.
There is a wonderful community in Buckingham called Buckingham Springs. These homes are very affordable. You can buy a 2 bedroom home for under $200,000.
People who live here can take the transbridge bus and go to New York in 2 hours.
