I was reading Lou Ludwig's post “What You’re Aiming For.” Lou is a renowned Management Consultant, Success Coach, Speaker, Trainer and Author, so I’m always interested in reading his posts. If you are not following him please take time to check his blog out.
His message to aim high and move out of your comfort zone and stretch your limits to new heights is of great significance no matter what your age!
Our granddaughter Hailey Stout is in her Junior Year at Bucknell University on a Girl’s Volley scholarship. She is #5 and was just honored as one of 7 on the Patriot League All Star Academic Team. As part of her curriculum she can study abroad for a semester. Some of her friends picked a country to study for 4 months but Hailey did some digging and discovered “Semester at Sea.” She was intrigued with the itinerary of studying and visiting so many countries and made the decision to step out of her comfort zone and apply. Unfortunately it was full and she was put on a wait list. She monitored almost daily the directory and a slot came available and she nabbed the position!
Today January 5, 2017 Hailey boarded the World Odyssey and is off on an adventure of a life time learning and studying with 600 other students from all over the country. She will be studying 105 days, in 11 countries, 12 cities and 4 continents! Go Hailey..we are so proud of you!!
It's true there is no limit if you believe in yourself and abilities and reach for the stars...the sky is the limit!
