Brad Andersohn asked each of us to do this post while sitting in this training class!
I want to especially mention Jan Evett who came from Panama City,Florida for this training! I also want to recognize Vickie McCartney who drove in from Owensboro,Kentucky. Also in attendance and driving quite a distance was Larry Brewer from Nashville,Tn. In addition to several of my agents in attendance, others included David Saks from Memphis,Tn. , Pat Cummings and Janice Reed from Brownsville,Tn and Gretchen Whitlow from McKenzie,Tn.
We covered lots of material and many took notes. We talked about profiles, posts, hyperlinks, and spent a lot of time learning how to post. We discussed how to up load pictures.
Brad discussed the "groups" and how to find the groups and mentioned how to join a group and also how to start a new group. We also spent quite a bit of time discussing how important your profile is. One thing that he recommended is putting links to all your previous posts right there on the profile.
Right at 12 noon we stopped for lunch and the catered in meal was wonderful. We really lost track of time as we were talking and sharing stories. Finally, at 12:30 I told the group we only have about an hour left with Brad.
So we scooted back to the conference room for the final hour that lasted almost 2 hours. Brad shared with us the importance of Google and the "free" pictures, and all the free tools available from Google. He also stressed the importance of posting to localism and how "Google" is really our friend! He showed us how to search on Activerain by "tags" and encouraged us to search for Activerain "success stories".
In the final 15 minutes we quickly went over video including Mixpo. Brad showed us a video he did of his wife singing a song she wrote which he put the music to. This was done with a "flip video" and it was really impressive to say the least!
I want to personally thank everyone for coming and for Activerain letting Brad come to Tennessee for this event. Right now as I type, I believe Brad and David Saks are touring Graceland
Here are the two "short flip videos" that I shot at the event!
The purpose of this blog will be to discuss the market conditions in the Dyersburg Tennessee area of west Tennessee. There will lots of useful information for buyers, sellers, bankers and other users of Dyersburg real estate information. I will also often quote other professionals.
