A New Year means another 12 First Fridays lined up for your enjoyment in Santa Cruz County! For those who may not know, First Friday occurs on, you guessed it, the first friday of every month. This event is an excellent chance for locals and visitors alike to experience just some of the many great things that the Santa Cruz art scene has to offer.
Various locations around town (often including coordinated events in Boulder Creek and Felton) play host to events featuring unique creations by area artists. In addition to having a chance to meet the artist and purchase his or her work, attendees also will enjoy everything from live music, to hands-on exhibits, to food by local restaurants, plus wine, craft beer and more.
