Our First Snow Fall In Middletown, CT In 2017

We have lucked out so far this year in my part of Connecticut, but the Northern part of the state has not been as lucky.  We got a couple of snow falls in December, but nothing major.  At about 3:00 a.m. today the snow started to fall for Our First Snow Fall In Middletown, CT In 2017, but once again it was only a few inches.

It is very unlikely we will continue to luck out and avoid the major snow storms, but for now I am happy we have not got hit with on so far this Winter.  Below is a couple of pictures of Our First Snow Fall In Middletown, CT In 2017.

Even just a dusting of snow can be so beautiful. We are getting snow in North Georgia right now and they predict 1 to 3 inches. I LOVE it! Enjoy your winter in CT George and send us some snow!

George, That does look pretty mild compared to what I have seen in past years and in other places.  We are be warned of a "BIG storm" expected to "hit" this evening.  They are talking flooding, sand bags, and loss of power.  It seems we are moving from drought state to state of flooding emergency.  Holy Gads!!

Hi George

I think you lucked out so far - sounds like there is some pretty nasty weather back on the East coast. Besafe if you get this new storm!

Have a great weekend - hope you don't have to spend it shoveling!

Jeff

George Souto - It looks so beautiful but I know it makes for a lot of extra work like shovelling sidewalks etc. Enjoy it while it is so pretty.

Brrr...looks beautiful as long as I'm just looking at pictures lol!  It got freezing here in San Antonio the last couple of days but no snow.  I imagine the city would grind to a halt if we received snow like that lol!

It still looks pristine out! I love new snowfall and especially before the traffic slashes slush up on top of the snow.

That's really pretty white stuff on the ground, George.  What did you say it was? I live in Sacramento, we don't get anything like that here.  However, we are dwelling under skies of liquid sunshine today!

George Souto

You created excitement this morning. After looking at your photos, I closed my eyes gently remember all the first snowfalls I saw in my lifetime. Mother Nature's first snowfall is always pretty special.

Enjoy the loveliness of the day!

We only got a dusting and escaped the bullet and sent it on its way up the coastline. I know we will see plenty of the white stuff in the next couple of months.
