The Pineapple Express Storm Did Not Stop The Santa Barbara Market!

Services for Real Estate Pros with Napa Consultants

The predicted pineapple express storm arrived last night, and continued through the night with a small respite of intermittent showers this morning.  We were delighted to see the Farmers Market open, even though many of the farmers did not show up.

I am sure that it was not worth their time to drive in the pouring rain at 4AM this morning to get here.

We loved this purple broccolini. It is delicious sauteed with garlic and olive oil.

We bought a reddish pink conehead cabbage.  This was a new one for us as we usually see the green variety only.  It makes a delicious coleslaw.

And yes, winter strawberries are here!

Wishing you lots of Saturday Smiles!

ABOUT:  Luxury Real Estate is a high stakes game. Commissions are substantial! We help luxury real estate professionals get to the listing table more often and win listings more frequently.  If you want to be the market leader, the personal or company brand that your target market thinks of first and refers most often, you need an Elevator Statement to accelerate the process.  We can get you there!

Your Elevator Statement is a succinct and persuasive summary of your extraordinary promise of value, your unique selling proposition.  In a time-starved world the attention span of your target market is shrinking.  Once you briefly state what you do and how you do it, you have a maximum of 30 seconds to convey what sets you apart from the crowd.  Can you state how you are different and better than your competition in under 30 seconds?

Watch the video above to see and hear how we do it.

Joanna Cohlan yes, we still did well,  I had alternate plans if the market was closed, but it was about 60% turnout, and my favorites were there except for the Asian market where we get the fresh ginger...there is always the Tuesday market.  A

Kathy Streib when I was picking them out, I was next to a woman who was bagging large individual bags.  I asked her if she was a chef, and she said yes!  She was very particular about each one she picked, and I followed suit!  I just love the people we meet.  A

We had a storm last night too, but it brought the fluffy white stuff and I am as happy as can be about that! Love your pictures, especially the strawberries!

Keep on dancing! I so hope that all that rain brings relief to your drought situation in CA...and that is also does not cause serious mud slides etc.

Good morning Ron and Alexandra Seigel ,

I just had to stop by to tour with you through the Santa Barbara Market! Even with many farmers not showing up you had some wonderful selections! The purple broccoli looked wonderful but the reddish pine conehead cabbage took my eye! Thank you for always showcasing what the market is offering and so grateful you are receiving the much needed rain!

What a treat to have local fresh fruit and vegetables year round, even with the rain.  Good for you on much needed rain and hopefully will stretch out a bit for the best benefits rather than flooding all in a day or two down pour.  M

The produce looks so good. I am in the mood for that purple cabbage. That is one of the dishes my mom used to make. It is much milder than the green variety.
