I Have Secretly Been Watching You!

It is true, I have been. For the past 4+ years here in the Rain I have been watching you, many of you. Not in a stalker kind of way, OK maybe perhaps a little like that, but I am harmless. Honest!

You see, when I arrived here in the Rain I had no idea how to blog, what to blog about, how to get my content in front of real estate consumers, or even what the heck SEO was. Watching you was my go-to move and it often still is!

I saw your excellent market reports and thought I might borrow some of those ideas. I did. I also saw those superb subdivision posts you were creating and I copied (loosely) what you were doing. I watched as you talked about SEO, SERPs, keywords, etc. and then I reverse-engineered what you were saying and found how I could benefit from that too.

Most of the time, maybe always, you had no idea I was lurking, but your tips, advice, and blog examples gave me plenty of material to work with as I crafted information for buyers, sellers, local events, and even ways to assist other Rainers.

You joined contests, so I participated as well, to learn from you and get better at my craft. You discussed successes you were having with social media and I was standing in the AR corner taking notes so I could also gain new business that way. You watched AR webinars and I was waving from the back row.

Who is this mystery person I have been patiently watching, learning from, improving my blogging as a result of, gaining new clients because of, and gaining knowledge, experience, and confidence from?

It is YOU!!!
