Charlottesville Christ Episcopal Church

When you visit Charlottesville there are some amazing places to see. If you are not watching you might drive right by one of them. Here is the Charlottesville Christ Episcopal Church located in the Downtown portion of Cville on High Street.

The outside is truely amazing from the stone exterior to the amazing windows and inviting entrance:

Once inside your eyes will not believe the details. Here is the first of several photos of the inside:

I will be posting part 2 of these photos so that you will get a chance to see the details of the stained glass windows.

This is amazing to see this online, but if you get a chance, please do visit in person!

regards, Charles

Charles,

Thanks for the comment and Active Rain welcome over at Get Mortgage Wise. Your church looks a lot like Holy Name Cathedral in Chicago. Beautiful photos throughout your blog. Makes me want to visit Virginia, so you're definitely doing your job.

There's a real sense of community I see on Active Rain that's even better than most other sites. Thanks again for making me feel "at home"!

 Take care,

Ben Barber

Charles, This is  beautiful!  I don't think I will be there any time soon to see it in person, so I will be looking for the rest of your pictures.

Charles:  Great photos but how awesome is this church!  Even though your pictures are great, I bet there is nothing like actually being there.  On my way to see part 2 now.
