The Problem is Not the Problem

“Your problem is not your problem. Your attitude - how

you handle your problem - is your problem.”

John Maxwell, Leadership Expert, Author, Speaker, Minister

As I see it . . . . . . . .

The problem is not the problem

The problem is not the problem . . . . the real problem is how to find a satisfactory salutation to the problem

A positive attitude forms a solid foundation . . . . for successful problem solving.

Essentially your problems are not the problem. The real problem surfaces in how you address the problems. You will either form a positive . . . . or negative position in your approach to solving the problem.

Will you take the personal responsibility to correct the problem . . . . or allow the problem to perpetuate?

Your attitude will determine how you address the problems you encounter . . . . and your approach to there resolution.

Your attitude will also determine the level of the persistence you have in resolving the problem . . . . and seeing the problem through to a successful conclusion.

The problem is not the problem . . . . The bottom line is that your attitude will make all the difference in the problem solving . . . . and creating a desired outcome.

Learning to respond to a situation (or problem) rather than reacting takes practice, but can be rewarding.  And reading positive reminders like this helps me stay on track.  Of course, I'm not "perfect" ~ I have times when I react

Attitude is important to finding a solution, yet, more important is the knowledge about the problem to craft a solution. That's why education is so important, perhaps more important than attitude IMO.

Nice feature to make us think?  Is something a problem or an opportunity? We get to decide who we will approach it.

Totally agree, we can all choose how to react, sometimes we need to stop and breathe deeply to stop our off the cuff reaction and to get our best response, but we can all choose. Good post.

Lou, this is a quality thought you have shared with us.

I often wonder how people who seem to always have a negative attitude can find a solution to anything.

I firmly believe that a Positive Attitude will lead to a Positive Result.
