Official 2017 Blog JUMPSTART Challenge - Enhance YOUR Personal Best

In support of my community, I'd like to introduce it's newest permanent attraction - Moviehouse Eatery Lakeside. With a relatively small population of about 66,000, it's easy to jump off the main drag, Long Prairie Road onto 121, 35E or 35W, 635, or 114 to hit the big cities of Dallas or Fort Worth. There, you'll find many large major attractions. In a hometown family community, such as Flower Mound, about a year ago we got our very first Moviehouse Eatery Lakeside. It is located between Long Prairie Road and Lake Grapevine. Lakeside is newly constructed mixed-use of apartments, Townhouses, half to Million Dollar+ homes, shops, restaurants and the Movie Theater.

What residents are saying they like about mixed-use, is they get the best of both worlds, a place to call home, restaurants, quaint shops, easy access to major roads, the beauty of being close to Lake Grapevine, in close proximity to major grocery chains, schools, and hospitals. Plus, the idea of being able to walk within the Lakeside community has advantages.

Moviehouse Eatery Flower Mound Lakeside has a sense of class as soon as you enter the building. The staff greets you and treats you like you're entering Hollywood going to see the stars - you're a regular V.I.P. Because the locals are frequent moviegoers, they get to know you quickly and treat you like family. It's a good idea to come early and select your dinner from the menu of many good choices of food, soft drinks, and an array of adult beverages. Once inside the theater, you'll sit in luxurious leather reclining seats. All over Flower Mound, people are now say, "Let's all go to the movies..."

Good morning Patricia Feager ,

I love our MovieHouse Eatery and heard they are expanding! Glad to hear there is now one in Flower Mound! It looks just like ours and we love to go in-fact we are going this Saturday night! Their food is good and you can sit and have a glass of wine while relaxing comfortably in those reclining seats! My idea of going to the movies! If you frequent enough the computer recognizes the seats you prefer when you log in and X's them for you! Always best to go on line by the middle of the week at the latest to get good seats..they get filled up! Good Localism post!

We have a similar place near my house, but I don't go there as much as I wish I did.

Hi Patricia Feager - I have never heard of this. What a novel idea! I have seen some modern mixed use areas in Flagstaff and the Scottsdale area (Kierland) and love the idea.  I think this is driven by our younger generations who enjoy this style of living very much.

Hello Patricia, it was so good to hear from you...enjoyed our conversation! The Moviehouse Eatery in Flower Mound is a great concept, we also have something similar that is centered around a movie theater and is very popular.

Patricia, I don't go to the movies very often but, this would encourage me to go more. What a fun experience! The reclining seats would be right up my alley.
