Each week of the year, I will highlight new single family home listings in Monroe NY. I will only include brand new listings and will not include those situations where a house expired, was under contract, or was temporarily off the market and has now come back on the market. I'll include listings from all companies and agents. During the first week of 2017 (January 1st through January 7th), two new listings were added to Monroe real estate inventory. They were:
3 Mack Place, MLS #4652217, listed at $275K. This home is a 2250 square foot split-level ranch home with a view of Round Lake, hardwood floors, four bedrooms, three full baths, an eat-in kitchen and a two-car garage. It is located approximately a mile from the center of the Monroe village, Gooseponds and rail trail.
141 Oakland, MLS #4700096, listed at $199K. This home is a foursquare style home (a square/boxy style popular in the late 1800s, early 1900s). The home was built in 1900 and as such, its 1600 square feet include some unique features such as arched doorways and built-ins. The home is convenient to the Gooseponds, rail trail and shopping. It is a short-sale listing.
