Yesterday, I posted an article about the importance of getting testimonials as an important part of your real estate business. You must do this!
I was remiss in not putting some emphasis on also giving testimonials freely to those services that have earned them. Just as you benefit from a satisfied customer, so do those you do business with. Voluntarily offering to write a testimonial will most likely have even more impact than doing one by being asked.
Case in point: Several years ago, I wrote a testimonial for my chiropractor on my blog. I sent them a copy. They were so impressed I would do that. Honestly, I was treated great before I wrote the blog and after... well, it was even better and remains so to this day! That was a good lesson for me. Sometimes it is better to give than receive. In this case by giving, I continue to receive although that was not my original intent.
And... by the way: The chiropractor became a real estate client. Imagine that!
