There was one point when I was a REALTOR in Florida that all of my listings had a water view. I had listings with an ocean view, marsh view, lake view and a pond view.
I decided to capitalize on this and used the phrase, "Are you looking for a home with a view?" in my print advertising.
This advertising paid off; I had someone who lived on a lake call me to list their house.
From this experience, I decided to develope a niche. I began to market myself as a "waterfront property expert".
I lived in two different waterfront properties in Florida and Virginia for fifteen years. This experience gave me a definite advantage!
