In January of 2007, the median price of a single-family Home for Sale in Prosper was $275,000. The median price is the point where half of all houses are more expensive and half are cheaper. Median home prices are generally a better indicator of home price trends than mean, or average, home prices.
Sales volume in Prosper remains steady, with 12 home sales closed in January. Most sales activity is occurring in the price range of $250,000 to $300,000. Additionally, sellers are receiving an average of $107 per square foot and their homes are selling for 94% of list price.

All in all, Prosper is looking like a healthy market for both home buyers and home sellers this Spring.
