We have a lot of door to door scammers going around with the pretense of needing to check our furnaces and hot water tanks.  They prey on the elderly and they end up signing contracts in perpetuity to rent furnaces and hot water tanks...with enourmous sums to buy out the contract.  Its disgraceful...
