Vermont - Lamoille Area Market Report for Homes Sold in 2016 compared to 2015

Overall, the Stowe Area home sales in 2016 have seen positive growth when compared to 2015.  This isStowe VT - 2016 Market Report by Teresa Merelman good news for most sellers.  The statistics that I looked at for this report include the number of home sales, the average sale price, the median sale price and the inventory of homes available for sale.  The State of Vermont shows all positive indicators - more sales, higher sold prices, and lower inventory.  Each town in the Stowe area has it's own story.  The town that seems to be recovering the best at this point is Stowe while Elmore, Vermont is showing signs of a weakened market.

Below is Chart which graphs the Market Activity for the State of Vermont, Stowe, VT, Waterbury, VT, Hyde Park, VT Elmore, VT, Johnson, VT and Wolcott, VT:

I love Vermont and having grown up in CT, have always wanted to live there. The Stowe area is my favorite! Not in the cards at the moment but I have visited often. Beautiful picture!

Hi Karen - yes, it is beautiful here.  We moved to Stowe in 1987 from the Washing D.C. area.  I never regretted it.  It is certainly a quality of life move.  Also for you, a great place to write!  For me, photography is a passion but a difficult way to make a living - unlike real estate, LOL.
