Do unto others as you would have them do unto you. But I think, and believe that the Weltanschauung of Active Rain is more than that. It goes deeper in to the very make up of all. Both the Founders and the members it has attracted over the years.When we start out in life we may not have a philosophy, but as you read and study you realize you need to develop or find one pretty quickly or you might be waylaid by someone elses and it might lead you astray in life.In Active Rain the comments left, the posts written, the meetings held, the coming alongside each other when needed, the opinions given have all added to this group not taken away from it. And that is because the worldview held by all is such that in their very core they are people who want to help others in whatever way they can. Whether they are Realtors, Brokers, Managers, Mortgage professionals, home inspectors, flooring experts, education, virtual assistants or whatever background or profession they have come from they want to help the other members to be and do their best.
There does not seem to be an air of competition, although we are all in competition, rather there is support, encouragement, advice and sometimes a hug or more when it has been needed. It goes beyond ethics. The Weltanschauung of Active Rain is something precious,like a pot of gold at the end of the rainbow and I am so glad I found my way to this group and have been able to call myself part of it for so long and have benefitted over and over from that membership and the wisdom and the generosity within this group. Thank you.
