H Street has become the center of a renaissance of Northeast DC and it could not be more exciting to watch. From the bridge going over the tracks at Union Station to Benning Road, there seems to be something new happening on a daily basis. What's been happening exactly? The real question is what has NOT been happening? With massive condo projects, completely renovated homes, a new grocery store (and now a Whole Foods) and some phenomenal restaurants, it's the place to be.

What's the Neighborhood Like?
This neighborhood is hard to describe because it's changing on a daily basis. The general structure is that all of the commercial space is located directly along H Street, with most of the housing tucked away just to the north and south. The west end of the street is pretty metro accessible via Union Station, but as you get further east, metro accessibility begins to lessen. However, H Street does have its own streetcar, which has helped bring more life and movement to the neighborhood.
