Jesse Leishman and Sean Watkins run Snap Power, a consumer tech company that specializes in outlet “cover plates.” I’m sure your wondering how they could possibly come up with anything that would make a difference and build a company centered on cover plates. Well they focused on creating simple and convenient solutions that solve some of the basic issues in today’s home and are making news and have hoards of loyal followers.
A product we love is the Snap Power Guide Light which is essentially a nightlight without the bulk and sacrificing of a plug. It’s a pathway of guide lights that are easy to install and offers a clean crisp look (remove your old cover plate and install the new one)!
A new product unveiled in December of 2016 called Snap Power Safelight is ingenious!! It builds on the Guide Light’s success. It functions as a nightlight (you can dim and turn it off) but has an incredible child-safety feature – protecting children from electric shock. When a power cord is unplugged, the sliding safety covers immediately slide into place over the openings. Children can’t poke fingers, forks or toys into the outlets! Again easy to install!!
