Once again the owner of Carpinteria Wines, Jane, shared a great find with us. She pointed out this bottle, and said it is the hottest selling bubbly in the store.

Pictured above is Saint Hilaire Limoux Blanc de Blanc Brut 2014. It is made in the traditional Champagne method, We really enjoyed it, and it retails from $11-15. Here are the reviewr's notes:

"Saint-Hilaire Brut displays aromatic flavors of peach, pear and green apple skins with a wonderful, full, creamy mouthfeel. Think non vintage Champagne for a fraction of the cost."

Veuve Cliquot is made in Champagne, this is a French bubbly made in France and as good as the non-vintage Veuve in my opinion. Of course all our palates, differ.
