It has been an especially long week.....a good one in many ways with new listings on the horizon....Yes Niche marketing is a wonderful thing....accepted offers and new Buyer referrals. It is the kind of week Realtor's dreams are made of..Busy, productive and profitable.
We believe that every business entity answers to someone. There are checks and balances....rewards and punishments for following...or not following whatever guidelines and rules are in place governing a business.
As we posted earlier....this week a "Loan Officer" claimed to also be an underwriter....we think not. The story of course keeps changing as he was questioned further. To our minds, as the "stories" continue the credability decreases proportionately. Our question in any situation is always if you are not honest about one issue...how many other ones have you knowingly misrepresented ?
Busy though we are...we also see when there is a need to champion the rights of the consumer...and see that rules are followed. When we asked to speak with this person's boss...at least according to their website...the person is listed as another loan officer...who saw fit to yell and scream and met with a prompt "Click" of a disconnected conversation.
We will find time to contact the Consumer Finance Protection Bureau with our complaint. In this forum of real estate professionals....never having felt the need to do this before...we are asking...Have you had any experience with making a complaint to the CFPB ?
Wishing you all a complaint free weekend...
