ROV-Ride around Our Valley-bike ride

Saturday May 10, 2008 a free public bike ride is planned for Hood River County. The "ROV"-"Ride around Our Valley" route is mostly on low-traffic back roads and people can ride any length of the route desired. The entire route is 48 miles, with some hill climbing and goes from Hood River to Parkdale then back to Hood River. This event has been designated as an event to celebrate the 2008 Hood River County Centennial.  You can go to www.hrvrc.org to find a map of the bike route.  The times the ride will reach each community are listed below:

Starting at the parking lot across from China Gorge in Hood River at 9:00 a.m. and riding to Pine Grove.

Arriving in Odell between 10-10:30 a.m. then Parkdale by noon.

Arriving back in Hood River around 3:00 p.m.

This event is a project of the Hood River Valley Residents Committee.
