Is Thinventory Disappearing in Southeastern Wisconsin ?

 Ahhhh Thinventory....that condition ....and our associated graphic...when  the demand far exceeds the supply of homes Thinventoryon the market...It is beyond  a Seller's market....it is a desert of no available listings. Discouraged Buyers and Sellers afraid to sell for fear they will not be able to find suitable housing to upsize or downsize.

   In the southeastern Wisconsin MLS we are inching closer to even when we compare last years closed sales to the current year to date total. By month's end,  2017 sales may well surpass the year to date number of 2016 both in terms of numbers of sales and dollar totals.

     It's a breath of fresh air....Buyers are beginning to find a selection of homes to buy. Smart Sellers are listing now with Fresh AirBuyers waiting for homes to come on the market.  In our "coming soon" inventory we will have homes in Hartland, Wales , Fort Atkinson and parts of Milwaukee county in a variety of price ranges from hundreds to over a million.

    It also is a very brisk year in  our divorce niche and we hear this from others in our mentoring program from around the country as well....which fuels both Buyers and Sellers.  Some "market watch" experts attribute this to a better economy with more consumer confidence.

I am pretty sure Peter Mohylsky that Thinventory and Curbalicious only exist in the Hanson dictionary of real estate...but if I could put it elsewhere that would be fun !

We have done well over 200 divorce related transactions and that is never ever the case...both names cannot stay on the mortgage and have them not be jointly liable for the debt. I would sincerely question your source Harry F. D'Elia
