Lynn B. Friedman is hosting the blog jumpstart challenge for January 2017. One aspect of this challenge is to select one of the guiding principles and philosophy of ActiveRain as presented in the Weltanschauung page of ActiveRain.
For me, one of the principles that most affects my use and participation in ActiveRain is Number 2 on the list: “We believe that real estate professionals will thrive if they demonstrate their local market expertise. With ever greater access to listings, local knowledge is now the key differentiator.”
Through the years I have used this platform to compile market reports for the various localities and subdivisions that I serve in my real estate business. I have strived to bring the most accurate and complete data to the general public by compiling the information that is available to me through our local, state and national organizations. While I hope that many folks, whether in this industry or just interested in the market, have found these reports useful, the real benefit of these reports is the continued knowledge of what’s happening in my market. This knowledge has allowed me to speak with some authority as to market trends that I see developing as well as a strong knowledge of historical trends and past real estate sales.
This knowledge continues to show my customers that I am a realtor with a strong knowledge of the local market that can guide them expertly through the buying or selling process on Florida’s Treasure Coast.
