ACTIVERAIN CULTURE BECOMES CONTAGIOUS
I have to admit that the ActiveRain culture is very contagious when one first starts blogging. There is so much to learn and so many people to connect with when it comes to ActiveRain. The first thing that I loved about ActiveRain was the Community aspect. Everyone was so helpful at the beginning of my blogging career. I would received emails informing on how to do it better. Then, I would follow the main bloggers to develop my own blogging style. I wanted to be part of something bigger than myself. ActiveRain was the answer to my question.
ACTIVERAIN IS BUILT FOR COMMUNITY
- Have fun with the site. Don't be afraid to dig in! There's a lot to do and learn here.
- Let ActiveRain staff and other members know what you are thinking. Member feedback is essential to our continued growth and development
-
Get connected. At first ActiveRain may seem so big that you could never be heard, and so small and cliquish that you will never find your place. Everyone experiences this phenomenon! Our suggestion is to start off slow; read blogs, then start commenting on posts that interest you, and once you feel ready, blog away!
The first thing it tells us to do is have fun with the site. I clicked on every button when I first joined ActiveRain. Then, I was able to navigate my way around the site much better and I was able to assist others at the same time.
The second thing that I truly cherish is sending ActiveRain staff my feedback. Many times I sent my feedback on items that I thought were important throughout the years. It was well accepted and very much appreciated at the same time. I have also done the same to other members. However, I much prefer to pick up the phone and discuss the matter with the other member.
Finally, it tells us to get connected. I have obtained many great friendships inside and outside of ActiveRain. I have done everything they have told me to do when it comes to blogging. I have to say that it works. However, it does take three important things from an individual blogger to create a community
- CONTENT
- COMMUNITY
- COMMITMENT
I very much appreciated my ActiveRain Community. Best wishes in 2017
