LOL Michael!  I have a friend in Running Springs that got over 4 feet of snow.  I will take our 1.5 inches that did not stick any day.

I never realized how much snow you guys get in Sedona.  I guess with the elevation about as high as Denver, it all makes sense.  Gorgeous scenic photos!

Hi Belinda, we are only at 4500 feet.  The most snow I have seen was in March 2012, 16 inches in 24 hours.  That year we got 20.6 inches. Flagstaff is at about 6500 feet and does get a lot of snow.

Sheri Sperry - MCNE® - Watching the video and hearing the birds in the background gave me a really good chill. Seeing the big fluffy snowflakes flutter through the air and making a landing to cover the trees, the ground, and your patio was so relaxing and beautiful! The way the snow is falling on the large native grasses gives them a dressed-up look which I'm sure is very unusual to see in Sedona. And then there's the beauty of the red rocks of Sedona sprinkled with snow.... all this and more are great examples of why Snowbirds would enjoy the occasional or rare snow in winter and the warmth of the climate and the people in Sedona 12 month out of the year. I would think the children of Sedona are most pleased and excited! 

Thank you for sending peace to me this morning with your beautiful video and the sounds of nature. It is very, very beautiful!
