Reminder: Ringing and Singing in the Rain 2017- An ActiveRain Challenge

The calls have been taking place and friendships are growing in the Rain. Some folks that have never participated have reached out and made a call or two. Others have been the recipients of the calls. I know this brings us closer.

Margaret Rome, Baltimore Maryland has been doing this for years and has connections all across the country. Even she was able to find someone she had never spoken to satisfy one of the category requirements.

Visit the original post for all the guidelines and to posts your links to qualify for the bonus points. Do not post your links in the comments on this reminder post as they will not count.

Here are the 3 ways you can earn bonus points.

1. Call and talk with an ActiveRain member that you have never talked with before. Write a post about your call and then post a link to that post in the contest post comment section. 1000 points. 
   
   
2. Call and talk with an ActiveRain member that has not posted a blog post in the last 90 days or longer. Write a post about your call mentioning the member's name and profile link. Post a link to the post you wrote in the comment section of the contest post. 1000 points. 
   
   
3. The person that has not written a post within the last 90 days can earn some bonus points for writing and posting a blog post during the contest period. This will earn them 500 points. You will also get 500 points. To qualify for these points you must post a link to their post in the contest comment section. If you don't post a link to their post then no bonus points will be given. *
   

*Stay connected with that person to see if they write a post so they will be awarded the bonus points and you too will earn them when you report it during the contest period. If you don't report it then neither of  you will get the bonus points for this category.

Remember, contests and challenges are voluntary but a way to earn extra points. This one builds relationships and takes a little more time but the extra points will be worth it and the relationships will be priceless.
