Searching for Cincinnati patio homes for rent?
We'll admit that it's not easy to find them! Our experience has been that patio home owners rarely offer them up for rent.
Why are they so hard to find?
First and foremost, Cincinnati patio homes are most often someone's last home, so they're STAYING there! While they might head for warmer climes during the colder months, chances are they're not going to risk opening their homes to tenants while they're gone.
Secondly, the patio home segment isn't a HUGE number of the overall Cincinnati housing market.
Thirdly, and this isn't true about only patio homes, but rental homes in general: MOST landlords never put them in Cincinnati MLS. They'd prefer to skip paying a listing agent and a buyer's agent and place a tenant on their own.
So what are your options if you're looking for a patio home to rent?
1. Contact us and we'll review the MLS listings for lease/rent patio homes. Honestly, we don't expect to find any because of their rarity, but we'll check for you. Just email Liz@LizSpear.com or call 513-520-5305 and let us know what you need.
2. You can use our advanced search function on WarrenCountyOhioRealEstate.com (just click the link to go straight to advanced search). Change the first drop down from Residential to Lease/Rent, then select the other criteria important to you. What you'll get WILL NOT be limited to patio homes, but ALL homes that fit your criteria listed in Cincinnati MLS for rent.
3. This one's pretty intensive, but drive through the patio home communities looking for rental signs.
4. Check out Craigslist and other websites for rentals. BEWARE though, there are scammers out there on the wild ,wild web.
