Now that I've been transitioning into a marketing and blogging business, I've had some more time to blog. I've been writing several in depth articles on my flooring site (TheFlooringGirl.com) and my new marketing site (DynamoMarketers.com).

Flooring
What types of hardwood are best if you have kids? I just published this article on my site and am just starting to promote on social media. I hope it does well (similar to how my Best hardwood flooring for dogs article has (over 4,000 clicks/month). If you can socially share it (e.g. FB, Tw, G+, LI, P) to give it a bit of a boost, I'd appreciate it. I did 2 extra long vertical images on this (check these out towards the end of the article).
- 8 Advantages of Carpet tile - A great DIY Project. I'm hoping this one does better (as I spent a lot of time on it.) My blog tends to rank well on hardwood and refinishing, but never as well on carpet. (This is consistent with the theme on Bob Stewart's latest post about creating a niche). This is a colorful article. And, it may create some inexpensive possibilities for some of your clients who want to prep their homes for sale, but don't want to spend too much money. It links to places where they can buy carpet tiles online.
- 2017 Hardwood Flooring trends. As Patricia Kennedy alluded to, this is my annual Magnum Opus and that's a great description of it. I'm astounded by the results so far...over 13,000 clicks in just 28 days. And, check out below article about Pinterest and how that contributed to the strong and rapid growth.
Marketing:
- Can Pinterest REALLY drive traffic to your site? Yes, yes, indeed! This is the largest contributor to the traffic for my 2017 hardwood trend post. I wrote about this on here, but I think most people missed it. It also links to a more in depth article I wrote with Pinterest tips. I should have done this much sooner...but I'm glad that at least I'm doing it now.
- 3 Easy ways to improve your graphics (for readability and SEO). Yes, this will help you with both Pinterest and for your blogging.
- How Viral Content Bee can help you get more social shares. This is a FREE platform that I use to help amplify my social shares. And, the more of us that use it, the more we can help each other.
